Ticket Changes

Before you change your ticket, it's important to understand Fares and Ticketing Rules that apply to your ticket. To learn more about ticket changes, see:

Types of Tickets

You can check the itinerary receipt you received by e-mail or mail to determine if your ticket is refundable or non-refundable.

Refundable Tickets

You may change your ticket without paying a change fee provided all fare and ticket rules are met and seats are available. If you do not wish to reschedule your travel, you can apply for a refund.

Non-refundable Tickets

The policies regarding ticket changes for partially-used ticket and unused tickets vary. Bulk fares or tour fares are not eligible for any changes.

Partially-used Tickets

When a partially-used ticket is changed, our automated process will calculate the most cost effective way of applying the tickets remaining value.

To reissue a ticket, all travel must be completed in the new itinerary by the original commencement date. To exchange a ticket, you will need to make your ticket changes prior to the expiration date of the partially-used ticket.

Unused Tickets

Unused tickets for travel within North America must be exchanged toward a new ticket prior to the expiration date shown on the ticket. For travel outside North America, all travel must commence within one year of the original date of issue.
